We are participating actively in the field of youth work since 2005 with our organization. First we were just a partner country, but later on we got into organize and coordinating programs aswell. In the last 10 years we provided opportunities, for nearly 300 youngsters to have foreign experiences by European youth exchanges and by town twinning, and human effort programs with different kind of topics, and interest. Due this time we hosted 5 project under the sing of Youth Program, Youth in Action and Erasmus+ project, but we also actively take a part in other international cooperations with neighbour countries and countries who’s are not in the Eurpoean Union.
We are working with EVS volunteers too, we are a sending, hosting and coordinating organization. Our future plan is to give a chance to the youngsters who’s are active members of our organization, to get to know new cultures and get a chance to travel, and get to know new people and knowledges.
We are committed to stand up against stereotypes and discrimination. We are proud to be a multi-cultural environment, and in our youth work we focus on building positive multicultural attitudes, developing competencies for understanding cultural diversity and help young people to become an active and conscious member of their local community.
Up to date our organization have been involved in European level projects in the following areas: social, environmental and gender issues; European citizenship; European awareness raising; art and culture; cultural diversity and mutual understanding; solidarity and tolerance.
Főnix Dance Sport Children & Youth Centre is one of the largest youth organization in its region, with a large network of national and international youth organizations and experts working for the labour market integration of young people. The Főnix youth centre also organizes youth exchanges, trainings and EVS programs an EU cofounded national wide vocational trainings. All these do involve competence building activities that help young people to develop their labour market-related competencies, such as communication competences, problem solving, competencies for cooperation and also competences related to cultural diversity and tolerance, EU market labour, and application writing competences.
We have experience in organizing youth exchanges, seminars, trainings funded by international donors and grants. Our Organization is prepared and have a large volunteer body for preparing and managing the logistics and administrative support of international events.
Although our organization primary active in E+ youth field projects since 2004, we have taken part already several EU cofounded regional and national wide vocational projects within frame of Social Renewal Operational Programme of Hungary. In SROP program frame due seminars we provide information for the participants about EU, EU market labour, and helping them to find out what is most suitable for them in EU labour market. We also have 3 years long direct contact with the local eures office, to be able to provide and help our members to find the best positions in EU wide.
